through friends involved in the sport, no names mentioned, i've heard the first hand stories of lance. while my intuition leads me to believe most of those stories of "arrogance" are true, the initial question asked is "so what?" hell the dude works hard, makes things happen, kicks some french ass, cancer ass, BUT is at least in the public eye pretty humble! if anyone deserves to use arrogance as a tool it's lance. a lot of people look at him for inspiration not just for cycling but for the "real" issues, like umm HOW TO KEEP LIVING AND FIGHTING!! must be a great weight to carry, but lance does it well!
i've shaken his hand! and compared tan lines with the man!
